Warm timber floors, thoughtfully selected furnishings and artwork from the owner's personal collection create a welcoming space for relaxation, reconnection and intrigue. The open-plan living area, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and WiFi combine character, comfort and convenience for couples, families and longer stays.

Outside, the wide north-facing patio is perfect for a morning coffee, afternoon wine or a lazy evening after exploring Albany's beaches, walking trails and attractions.

Charge your EV, let your dog roam freely in the enclosed backyard, or wander to Bluff Rock Reserve just 300 metres away for a stroll in the bush. Whatever brings you to Albany, comfort, character and convenience will share equally in your stay at Nelson Cottage.

A shed in the rear yard is used by owners for storage and you may advised re access on occasions by them.

For our vistiors with pets, we have a Pet Fee payable and Pet Policy for your agreeent prior to arrival.

Nelson Cottage

Nelson Cottage is a refurbished 70s cottage home with a relaxed vibe, a fantastic mix of retro, modern and original influences throughout.

High on the Mir Mar scarp, it has views south to historic Mt Clarence, is centrally located between the Albany CBD and Middleton Beach, and is just 300m from Bluff Rock Reserve.

There is an EV charger for use by guests, open plan light and bright living, a fully equipped kitchen, super comfy queen size beds, and desk in a separate room for a home office space.

Outside, a wide north facing patio extends the full width of the home and forms part of an enclosable rear yard. Sunny in winter and cool in summer, the patio is a great place to enjoy a wine, hang out with kids or make provisions for your pooch.

Booking Policy

A government issued valid ID proof will required.

Deposit Policy

Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the client’s acceptance of these Standard Terms and Conditions.
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Balance payment of the full rental tariff must be received 14 days prior to occupancy. If not paid in full, the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and to re-let the cottage.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or early departure incurs forfeiture of all monies paid unless the Cottage is re-let for the entire period booked. If re-let, a $95 Cancellation Fee will apply and be retained from refund monies.

No Show Policy

NoShows incur forfeiture of all monies paid, unless negotiated otherwise and conversion to a Cancellation Policy agreed with management.

Child Policy

Children are welcome.

Check-in Policy

Check in is from 2pm.
Access details are provided by text message to guests in the 24hr prior to arrival.
